Thanks to the Chili Princess for pointing this out: Son Volt has announced more tour dates including a stop at The Rave in Milwaukee on October 14th and a stop at The Vic Theater in Chicago the next day. Check out the band’s home page for more info.

Also of note, Jethro Tull will be stopping in Chicago on November 20th at the Civic Opera House.

The North Mississippi All Stars will be here in Madison on 14 September playing at the High Noon Saloon.

    let’s go see Son Volt together! too bad it’s at the Rave. he should know better than to deal with that shmuck. the sound is bound to be terrible.

    Robbie Fulks is great. we’ll try to do that. i’m a bit disappointed the ‘Suckers are going to be with the Reverend. i like the Rev but the ‘Suckers are twice the band that the Reverend is IMHO. what also annoys me is that because of the pairing it will likely be overpriced and will sell out in no time.
