Tonight I am off to The Rave in Milwaukee to see Porcupine Tree. Here's the setlists from the past 2 nights in Chicago which were filmed for a forthcoming DVD:

Don't Hate Me
Mother and Child Divided
Buying New Soul
So Called Friend

The Start of Something Beautiful
Halo

E:
The Sound of Muzak
Radioactive Toy
Trains

12 October

Deadwing

Even Less
Halo
Gravity Eyelids
Open Car
Don't Hate Me
So Called Friend
Mellotron Scratch
Mother and Child Divided
Hatesong
Strip The Soul

E:

Radioactive Toy

Hopefully we'll get a mix fo the songs here that includes those that weren't played when the band was in the States earlier in the year. "So Called Friend" and "Mother and Child Divided" are only available on the DVD-A of Deadwing so hopefully they'll be played. Plus "Buying New Soul" would be really cool. Oh! And so would "Don't Hate Me" - I've never seen that live.

I've posted 3 PT shows here:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Tomorrow night it's back to The Rave for Son Volt. There's a bit of SV news to tell. Firstly, they will be doing some live radio performances this month. At this point, only 2 have been announced:

20 October - WRSI - Northampton, MA - 3:30 pm performance
28 October - WTTS - Indianapolis, IN - 3:30 pm performance

From the band:

"After-show meet-n-greets
Retailers from record stores in certain markets will be on-site at shows selling copies of "Okemah and the Melody of Riot". If you purchase a copy of the album at the show, you will receive a pass to hang out after the show and meet the band to have them sign it. These are the markets and retailers:
10/13 - First Ave - Electric Fetus
10/14 - The Rave - Exclusive Company
10/15 - The Vic
10/19 - The Pageant - Euclid Records"

Also:

"Son Volt's show from the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on Friday, October 21 will be webcast through NPR's "All Songs Considered". For more information, please visit http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4627437.

Finally, a leftover song from the Okemah sessions, "Anacostia", is available exclusively at Rhapsody which, I gather, is an online music service.

My Son Volt show is here.
