There’s a new Genesis concert recording out that was previously “hidden” or in the possession of a small cadre of collectors. It’s a soundboard that was recorded at the Rainbow Theatre in London, UK on 3 January 1977. It was a Christmas present to the collecting community from the folks at Meek’s Live Genesis Café. A standard show from this part of the tour but it’s of excellent quality and is drummer Chester Thompson’s third show ever with the band. I listened to part of it last night and it’s quite good.
