Show #42: The Boss in Madtown

The theme of American folk continues today and we also have another mini-show recorded right here in Madison.

This ditty features The Boss – Bruce Springsteen. It was a short set he did at a rally for then presidential candidate, John Kerry. Afterwards he, his wife, and Tom Brokaw went up to the balcony of an apartment of a bunch of college kids and watched Kerry’s speech. This was recorded on 28 October 2004. I remember the day well as I was hard at work (ahem) just a couple blocks away.
