Show #46: Iggy by Request

This is a super-special-mega-bonus show that comes at the request of my friend, Miss Pamela. She recently bought one of those remastered Stooges albums and wanted to hear some live stuff. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any live Stooges of suitable quality so I went with an Iggy Pop show. This is the earliest show of good quality that I could get my hands on with short notice.

What we have here is a show from 26 September 1980 recorded at Bookie's in Detroit, Michigan.

Setlist:

Raw Power
I Wanna Be Your Dog
Dog Food
TV Eye
Shake Appeal
Puppet World
Knocking Em Down
Lust For Life
One For My Baby
Search and Destroy
Take Care Of Me
Louie, Louie/Hang On Sloopy

Iggy Pop

As you can see from the picture below, Iggy had that radically thin thing going on long before Nicole Richie tried making the newly-freed-from-a-Nazi-concentration-camp look chic.
