Son Volt Back In The Studio
Son Volt is headed back into the studio in April to work on a new album which will be released in Spring 2007.
‘6 String Belief’ DVD
On May 23rd, 6 String Belief, a performance DVD from The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC, will be released. The DVD will feature 31 songs which span Jay’s solo, Son Volt and Uncle Tupelo careers, including: Bandages & Scars, Straightface, Picking Up the Signal, Windfall, Chickamauga and Feel Free.
Gob Iron
In September, Transmit Sound/Legacy will release Gob Iron, a collaboration between Jay Farrar and Anders Parker. This collection features traditional songs which Jay and Anders re-worked by adding and re-writing lyrics as well as the music. More info to come.
