Apologies

Perhaps some of you noticed that I ran out of bandwidth last month. Around 3:30AM yesterday. Ergo the site and all downloads were MIA for just shy of a day. Sorry about that. I was hoping that I could make it through yesterday but there were just too many downloads. I'm working on it. Not sure yet if I'll just upgrade my contract with my webhosting service or whether I'll try to prevent crawlers from horking the shows.

Anyway, enjoy this week's show featuring Led Zeppelin.

Why don't you put the full shows up.
After looking at your site, you have no full shows
thanks for your efforts but, complete shows are what you need.

Actually, there are some complete shows. The Tull '04 show was posted in its entirety in 2 parts. This week's Led Zeppelin show is complete in so far as I posted the entire recording of that gig that I have. Is my source incomplete? Possibly. I'd have to go back and check but I'm pretty sure there are others. The Bad Livers and Warsaw Village Band shows come to mind.

I try to keep shows in the 45-60 minute range as this is basically the length of an album and 2 hours of a lo-fi recording of music seems pointless. I'm happy to make copies of recordings and I feel that, if you want an entire show, a 64kbps mp3 is not the way to go. A large amount of sonic fidelity is lost as is banding. The point is not that these shows are recordings one would collect, but rather that they're samplers which provide some fun listening time.

Full shows that would be added to a collection deserve to have the best fidelity possible. I do not have the money for terabytes of webspace; most portable music players and CD players do not support lossless compression formats; and I suspect that most people don't have support for lossless compression formats on the media players on their computers.

I'm sorry you were disappointed. Please see the Live Music Trading links section or email me as I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for obtaining full shows of optimal quality.
