Isthmus Jazz Festival 2006

The Isthmus Jazz Festival (PDF) started yesterday and continues through the weekend. This year it is being held at the Memorial Union Terrace and here's the schedule:

Thursday, June 1 (5 p.m. to midnight; Union Theater rain location):5 to 6 pm. – The Les Thimmig V
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Ben and Leo Sidran with guests Louka Patenaude and Billy Peterson
8 to 9:30 p.m. – The Tony Castenada Latin Jazz Sextet
10:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. – Jackie Allen

Friday, June 2 (5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.; Der Rathskeller rain location):
5 to 6 pm. – Dan Wallach’s Quintet
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Hanah Jon Taylor
8 to 9 p.m. – Jan Wheaton Quintet
9:30 to 11 p.m. – Tim Whalen’s Nonet
11:30 to 12:30 p.m.—Swingin’ Under the Stars with Madison Jazz Orchestra

5 to 6 p.m. – Roscoe Mitchell Quartet

Sunday, June 4 – Jazz Breakfast from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.(music on the Terrace and breakfast and beads served in the Lakefront on Langdon):
A New Orleans-style jazz breakfast featuring Madison Jazz High School All-Stars and Lynnea Godfriaux with Tight Like That
