Porcupine Tree News

Still no release date on their forthcoming DVD, Arriving Somewhere..., but they have added a couple more dates for their mini-tour in support of its release. Unfortunately they are both on the West Coast with nary a Midwest date in sight.

In other news, they've opened a download store. There's not a country ton of stuff up there yet but there are some interesting tidbits. For instance, you can download a live version of "Tinto Brass" for free. It was left off of their Warszawa live album which is comprised of tracks recorded by Polish radio a few years ago on the Lightbulb Sun tour. Also of interest is the Futile EP which contains a previously unreleased tune, "Collapse". It's not a major tune in their catalog - it's a short ditty which was supposed to have led off In Absentia - but it's something new nonetheless. The EP also contains a couple other tracks that didn't make it onto In Absentia - "Drown With Me" and "Chloroform". And so, while you're waiting until next spring for their next studio album, you can now make your own "complete" mix of In Absentia.
