Hi Palmer.
I,have put them on a cd,but not satisified yet the way they came out.I am going to go back at it soon.The problem I had 1st is the cassette runs longer than the cd will take.

I,met the Boy’s at Glenn and Anns back in the early 60s.I left one nite kind of”Full”Went to get in my car and”Windy” was looking at his Left Front flat tire.No Jack,I had just bought a 1962 Mercury,got the jack out Windy was taking the lug nut’s off Bare Handed! It was about 20,below zero.I,attended many sessions with them and I guess became great friends with all.I,have some casset tapes,i recorded at there 1st Reunion in Waupaca,Wi.Memorial weekend 1982.And a nice scrapbook full of Pictures and memrobilia!

I played with you rascals back in the day. And I just played along with your Dickeyville song. Sure miss you guys… I play about once a month at the American legion hall in Montello where I now live. Hope we can get together with a jam session sometime this summer! April 30, 2011. PS: I would like to get a hold of Wanda & Leon. Can you help?

I’ve owned GIR’s Greatest Hits CD for a few years now, only playing it now and then. Lately though I’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling… weeks at a time. Funny how I find myself searching the iPod for these guys quite a bit now. It makes me feel like I’m back home in Madison. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised that folks on the subway stare at the guy with headphones singing along to “Mrs. Johnson” or “Methodist Pie”.
