Lucky Germans

December 2nd, 2006

Prog fans in Germany are going to get a couple good shows on their TV screens and radios this month:

ktu2 Lucky Germans

Firstly, KTU’s performance at the Tempere Jazz Happening in Finland last November is going to be broadcast on 8 December. KTU features Trey Gunn & Pat Mastelotto from King Crimson and Kimmo Pohjonen and Samuli Kosminen, a couple Finnish musicians. So you’ll have the former Crimso rhythm section along with accordion, samples, and voice. It will be broadcast at 9:05PM to 10:00PM (GMT +1). Do check out samples of their music at the band’s MySpace page linked above as they’re really good.
