James Brown has died. When I can upload shows again, I shall put up a performance by The Godfather of Soul.

Jeez, I guess the squeaky wheel does get the grease.
I’ve been listening to the James Brown “Star Time” box set that came out in the early 90’s. And I am continually blown away by the guy. He sounds like nobody else and can make a kid from the farm like me feel funky. He was so much more than “I feel good”.
I was behind 2 women in the cafeteria this morning who were talking about Mr. Brown’s death.
“He was still pretty young”
“Yeah, He was only 73 “
Star Time is a great compilation. A roommate in college had it and I listened to it constantly. 73 is young? I guess wife beating takes its toll on the ol’ ticker. I’ll have a James Brown show up soon. Probably tomorrow.
