I’m going to continue in the Uncle Tupelo vein this week and feature Wilco’s recent show from here in Madison.

It was the band’s first gig here in Madison since 27 October 2004. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend which really bites as I would have loved to have heard the new material that the band previewed that night. They showcased 5 new songs: “Shake It Off”, “Impossible Germany”, “What Light”, “Let’s Not Get Carried Away”, and “Is That the Thanks I Get?”. For a review of the gig, head over to Muzzle of Bees for Ryan’s take.
The performance was on 22 November 2006 at the Barrymore Theater here in Madison, Wisconsin. Thanks must go to the taper, Jerry Eaglebarger.
