Someone requested a show by The Stooges a month or so ago. If you’re reading this, know that I’ve been looking. I obtained a copy of a performance of theirs from 18 July 1970 at Soldier Field in Chicago. It was a gig they did with MC5. Unfortunately, the quality of the recording was terrible. It sounds like someone had their reel-to-reel rig on the far side of the stadium from the stage. The music is so distant and there’s so much audience noise that it’s not worth posting. It is definitely for completists only. However, I’ll keep an eye out for another show.
