Show #112: Feel Like Driving Around (Son Volt '05)

March 27th, 2007

Since I’ve finally gotten my review of Son Volt’s latest album, The Search, finished and their tour in support of it starts tonight, I’d thought I’d post another show by them. In fact, my first podcast here featured them and that was because of the release of their previous album back in 2005. It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing this almost 2 years now. I’ve got tickets for the band’s appearance in Chicago next month and am excited to see them. (No Wisconsin date this time around, unfortunately.)

This is a bit more than half the show from 24 September 2005. It was recorded at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia and is a superb audience recording by John Barren.
