		<description>Ed - thanks for the kind words. I don&#039;t have a problem with anyone who prefers the first incarnation of the band. Instead, what irritates me is people who discount everything Jay Farrar has done since Trace. Straightaways was a bit of stagnation, though a great album, but I&#039;ve enjoyed everything Farrar has done, to varying degrees. It just gets in my craw when folks discount everything post-Trace.</description>

		<description>Excellent review!  You&#039;re close to hitting my feelings on the record, but I&#039;m still on the fence.  I haven&#039;t gotten real excited about it yet, but that doesn&#039;t mean its a bad album.  I have to admit, I am one who misses the &quot;Trace&quot; era sound and how Farrar&#039;s voice fits so well with fiddles, etc.  But that doesn&#039;t mean an artist can&#039;t explore and I respect him for that.</description>
