Greet spring with Madison's favorite progressive rock cover band, PROG:
At the HIGH NOON SALOON:
Monday, March 26, opening band at 8PM, tba, $5 cover gets you both groups.
At the KING CLUB
Sat April 28, for a MAMA Benefit, to raise funds for music programs in Madison Schools. A 4-group program, tba soon.
The show on the 26th will be the perfect way to wind down from a geeky weekend. On Saturday the 24th, there will be a lecture on the history of Dungeons & Dragons at the Historical Society. For my part, my brother and some dorky friends from Chicago will be coming up that weekend to attend the lecture and drink fine Wisconsin beer which is not available on the other side of the Cheddar Curtain. I think a Cthulhu adventure is in works as well. After going insane, I can relax the following night with the classic sounds of progressive rock.
