On a proggy note, the Celtic-Norwegian folk rock band Tempest will be in the region starting today through Saturday. A good reference point in Songs From the Wood-era Jethro Tull with the Norwegian influences thrown in. So, if you're not going to the WI Film Festival or have time to make a trip, here's their itinerary:

Did you know there was a Wisconsin P.R.O.G. Society? Me neither but they are hosting a mini-festival of progressive rock goodness on 9 June at the Miramar Theatre in Milwaukee. Looking at the line-up, I see a mix of prog metal and more ambient stuff.
