The Bad Plus
From my former padawan learner comes notice of The Bad Plus. The band are bassist Reid Anderson, pianist Ethan Iverson, and drummer David King. The latest album from this jazz outift is called Prog and contains a cover of Rush's "Tom Sawyer" which makes for some fun listening.
