Gigs This Week

Tonight is the performance by the Venice Gas House Trolley, a spoken word ensemble. It’s at the High Noon Saloon starting @ 8:30.

Also this week is Matt White, who is a UW alum. Rolling Stone named him an “artist to watch” last year and he’ll be at Cafe Montmartre this Thursday the 26th. The sample at his webpage sounds like over-produced and overwrought pop schlock and I normally wouldn’t mention the gig but he’s a fellow UW alum so I’ll give him a pass.
