Tancho! Tancho! Makes Live Debut

Tomorrow night is debut of a new Madison band, Tancho! Tancho!. They'll be at the High Noon Saloon for a happy hour gig starting at 6. From the closest thing to a press release:

Tancho Tancho! is Alex Fortney, Dan Hobson, Dave Zero. We've all played music for a while, Alex previously in Tongue & Texas Horse Crippler, Dan in Killdozer among many others, Dave more recently with MaeRae and the Sugar Jets. This is our first time out of the basement so it may be a little rough around the edges... actually it'll probably always be a little rough around the edges so what the heck.

I've been given a preview of their setlist and it looks awesome. There will be a waltzy beat, noodly guitar bits, and a mega-finale where they rock to the end, bow, and drink beer.

Also on the bill is Madison alt-country stalwarts, MaeRae. Two bucks is all that it'll cost. Be there or be a rhombus.
