Talk about Gesamtkunstwerk! A group of German artistes has taken Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and transformed it into a massive production. OK, just performed by your local symphony orchestra it’s a monster production. But here we get a “monumental opera” featuring a huge set, costumes, pyrotechnics, Satan, naked chicks – Spinal Tap would be proud. The show will be in London next month. Hopefully it will return to the States soon.

See – classical music isn’t boring.
