This week I am going with The Fugees.
I was perusing shows to download and came across this one. Back in the 90s, there was a song or two of theirs that I liked so I figured I’d give them a shot.

The trio of Wyclef Jean, Pras Michel, and Lauryn Hill hail from New York and released their first album, Blunted on Reality, in 1994. But it was 1996’s The Score that gave them success. It sold millions of copies and won the Grammy for best rap album. Plus it was from this album that I heard music which I enjoyed but can’t remember the actual song or songs.
I am probably the last person in the world who should attempt to wax philosophical about The Fugees’ legacy in the world of hip hop so I’ll just give you the details of the show and let you listen for yourselves.

We have the band’s performance from 15 September 1996 this week. It was recorded in Baden, Germany and is a really nice soundboard.
