Chicago Blues Tuesdays Temporarily Friday Blues Party

June 30th, 2011

A.J. Love has done a helluva job keeping blues alive here in Madison. For over two years he’s hosted Chicago Blues Tuesdays but it’s apparently on hiatus until the fall. In the meantime there’s The Friday Blues Party at the Knuckle Down Saloon which is at 2513 Seiferth Road. (That’s near Plaum and Hwy 51.)

The summer schedule looks like this:

1 July – Charles Hayes
8 July – Peewee Hayes with Steve Dougherty on drums
15 July – Rev. Raven
22 July – Billy Flynn
29 July – Charles Hayes with Steve Dougherty on drums
5 August – Rockin’ Johnny Burgin
12 August – Billy Flynn
9 September – Steve Freund

More dates to be announced.
