New Wilco Album & Madison Tour Stop

Wilco has a new album due on 27 September called The Whole Love. According to the A/V Club:

The record’s made up of 12 songs, all under four minutes long, including the first single, “I Might,” which was released as a sweet clear vinyl 7-inch this past weekend at Solid Sound.

On the other hand, American Songwriter says:

If you like Wilco’s epic jams, you’ll be excited to hear that the album begins with the seven-minute “Art Of Almost” and ends with the 12-minute “One Sunday Morning (Song For Jane Smiley’s Boyfriend).”

Harumph.

The band will be here in Madison on 5 October for a gig at the Overture Center.
