The new Yes album, Fly From Here, is out now. I haven’t bought it yet but have listened to some tracks on YouTube. From what I’ve heard, it’s quite good. Singer Benoit David is very Jon Anderson-like yet you can also hear Trevor Horn in his style as well. He’s just different enough to not be cloying. Squire’s bass is very prominent and, in general, everyone is in good form. Despite the return of Geoff Downes and the revival of a Drama-era song, the album doesn’t sound like it was written c. 1981.

Here’s the album’s final track, “Into the Storm”. The bass has that squishy sound from Tormato.
