RPO, BBB, and Primus

Madison’s Reptile Palace Orchestra released a new album last month, Songs and Dances of Madisonia. It’s their first album in almost nine years. I listened to it over the weekend and it is great.

Balkan Beat Box have a new album on tap called Give. It will be released tomorrow, in fact. The band’s tour has no Wisconsin stops but they’ll be in Chicago on the 10th of this month. Here’s “Part of the Glory”.

Lastly I see that Primus will be playing in Milwaukee at The Rave on 27 May. Since they were here last fall, I doubt they’ll be a Madison date announced.
