Another progressive rock festival bites the dust. This time it’s Farfest. The brain-child of Greg Walker of Syn-Phonic Music, it was to feature primarily 70’s bands but there just wasn’t enough ticket sales.
We regret to announce that we have made the very difficult decision to officially cancel Farfest 2012. The execution of this event was challenging, and in the end, there was simply insufficient ticket sales to move to the next level of production.
I guess one multi-day prog festival is all the northeast can handle these days.
On the bright side, ProgDay is still a go for 1-2 September. The line-up:
• Accordo Dei
Contrari (Italy)
• Birdsongs Of
The Mesozoic (US)
• Consider The
Source (US)
• Doctor Nerve (US)
• Dreadnaught (US)
• Ephemeral Sun (US)
• Iluvatar (US)
• Karcius (Canada)
