Prognight @ Arcadia Theatre

More info can be found here. The show is on 12 October in St. Charles, IL which is a northwestern sub-/exurb of Chicago.

I feel badly because I’ve never heard any of Neal Morse’s solo work and could never get into Spock’s Beard. (Is the solo stuff all abuot Jebus? I don’t care how much Mellotron there is, I’m not sure I could handle more than a second of proggy praise of Yahweh.) And, while I’ve only heard a few District 97 songs on YouTube, they really don’t float my boat either. I like the cello and some of the melodies but their songs just never seem to gel for me.

Regardless, it’s just nice to see a venue devote a night to some prog. Hopefully this won’t be the last Prognight.
