How Marillion Fans Invented Crowdsourcing

Long before Kickstarter, Marillion fans invented crowdsourcing and the band has been utilizing it ever since. In this video keyboardist Mark Kelly explains how it all started back in 1997 when American fans were dismayed that the band’s tour wouldn’t be coming to the States and took matters into their own hands.
